The eLg Reference Group consists of members from groups as diverse as the Tertiary eLearning Reference Group (TeLRG) (the Ministry of Education-established panel of eLearning experts), the Ako Academy of Tertiary Teaching Excellence, and advisors from varying types of institutions throughout New Zealand and internationally who work to ensure the guidelines match current thinking and are relevant to a wide range of potential users.

Their role includes:

• offering feedback, suggestions and proposed modifications throughout the project including responding to revised and new eLg
• sharing relevant new information, references and links
• keeping up-to-date with the project developments so as to share with professional associations, industries and organisations
